At Miamisburg Vision Care, we help patients of all ages see clearly.
Our practice was established in the 1940s by Dr. CJ Wagner in a small building in downtown Miamisburg. Since that time, the practice has expanded its team and patient care services. Dr. James Kuhlman joined Dr. Wagner in the 1960s, and a new building was constructed at 928 East Central Avenue. Dr. Tom Flinn joined Dr. Wagner and Dr. Kuhlman in the early 70s, shortly before Dr. Wagner retired. Dr. Keith Basinger joined the practice when Dr. Flinn retired in 1998. Then in 2004, Dr. David Anderson joined as Dr. Kuhlman neared retirement. At this time, the practice was officially named Miamisburg Vision Care. Dr. Kuhlman retired at the end of 2007, and at the beginning of 2008, Dr. Staci Anderson joined the practice. As the practice grew, it needed a larger space and moved to its current Alexandersville Road location in 2013. Dr. Taylor Sprague joined Miamisburg Vision Care in 2021, bringing the total number of optometrists to four.
